Upcoming System Update – Temporary Service Interruption to AMC candidate accounts

16 July, 2025

Thursday, 14 August 2025 at 12:00pm (AEST) – Wednesday, 20 August 2025 at 12:00am (AEST)

The AMC will be undertaking scheduled system work to support the transition from the current EPIC verification platform to the new MyIntealth platform. This work will not alter the existing verification process or affect any statuses already obtained through EICS and/or EPIC.

What is MyIntealth?
MyIntealth is a new online platform developed by Intealth and its members, ECFMG and FAIMER. It will provide international medical graduates (IMGs) with access to services similar to those currently available through EPIC, including the ability to request credential verifications, manage applications, submit payments, and retrieve messages.

What will change during this transition?
To enable this transition, AMC candidates accounts will be temporarily impacted between 14–20 August 2025. During this period:

  • IMGs will still be able to sign in to their AMC accounts, view their dashboard, and access existing information, including results.
  • IMGs will not be able to submit new AMC portfolio applications or add additional qualifications to existing accounts during the transition window.
  • No new verification statuses will be received or updated on AMC candidate accounts, the MBA/Ahpra portal, or specialist college portals during this period.
  • However, a brief outage of approximately 4–6 hours is expected within this timeframe. This will result in a complete outage with no access to the AMC candidate account. The exact timing will be confirmed by ECFMG and published on the AMC website when known.

 Important:
We encourage you to submit any in-progress applications prior to the system outage. If not, you will need to enter the MyIntealth ID issued to you by ECFMG in order to proceed with your application once the transition is complete.

For further details, visit the MyIntealth website or contact ECFMG directly. ECFMG will also communicate with users about the transition process.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience during this important system enhancement.
