The examination fees listed below are GST free. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Changes in Australian Medical Council (AMC) Examination and assessment fees
The Australian Medical Council has reviewed its schedule of examination and assessment fees and charges, which were last changed in 2005/06. In order to accommodate increased costs associated with the scheduling and delivery of examinations, the AMC is obliged to increase a number of fees and charges associated with the AMC Examination and other assessment pathways effective for examination and assessments conducted after 1 July 2010. The revised fees and charges are as follows.

For all withdrawals from examinations after the closing date acceptable certified evidence must be submitted, of severe illness or pressing domestic circumstances, in the form of a Doctors Certificate or Statutory Declaration. Fees are subject to change in light of inescapable cost increases. The AMC may refund 50% of the fee paid in cases of severe illness or pressing domestic circumstances.
