The Australian Medical Council is an organisation whose work impacts across the lands of Australia and New Zealand.
The Australian Medical Council acknowledges the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the original Australians and the Māori People as the tangata whenua (Indigenous) Peoples of Aotearoa (New Zealand). We recognise them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for these lands.
We pay our respects to them and to their Elders, both past, present and emerging, and we recognise their enduring connection to the lands we live and work on, and honour their ongoing connection to those lands, its waters and sky.
To align with the Clinical examination, the AMC has been working on the process to allow candidates to download their AMC CAT MCQ Examination results by logging onto their AMC candidate account.
Candidate results will be available to download at 9.00am on the Thursday, four weeks following the AMC CAT MCQ Examination. This enhanced process has been designed to eliminate paper and manual processing and allows candidates to receive their results more promptly.
This process also applies to candidates’ results from previous AMC CAT MCQ Examinations issued from February 2011. For results issued prior to February 2011, candidates will still need to request it by using the Request for Duplicate Copy of Results form as this process requires retrieval from the AMCs archive system.
Once you have received an email from Pearson VUE confirming your authorisation, you may schedule for an AMC MCQ examination event by selecting one of the following options
You must pass the AMC CAT MCQ Examination before you can apply for either the AMC Clinical Examination or Workplace based assessment.
The AMC CAT MCQ Examination results are processed and issued by the AMC, not Pearson VUE. Should you have any questions please contact the AMC MCQ Team.
