The Australian Medical Council is an organisation whose work impacts across the lands of Australia and New Zealand.

AMC Development of Standards for Assessment and Accreditation of Cosmetic Surgery Programs – Consultation

The AMC has developed draft accreditation standards for cosmetic surgery programs of study and is inviting feedback on the draft standards. The consultation period will end on 15 February 2023. The development of accreditation standards for cosmetic surgery programs of study is a consequence of the Medical Board of Australia deciding to develop an area of practice endorsement for cosmetic surgery.
