Cliftons venues for Off-shore MCQ examinationsAs from July 2008 it is mandatory to pass the Australian Medical Council (AMC) MCQ Examination prior to registration. For examination dates and venues - click here.
Scheduling through the Cliftons NetworkFor all candidates who apply for an Off-shore MCQ examination through the Cliftons network, scheduling is processed through the AMC.
On receipt of the Form C-1 application at the AMC, the examination fee payment will be processed.
A placement letter will then be forwarded to you by email indicating your confirmation in the examination. (If you wish for a copy of this letter to be sent to you, you can contact the MCQ section and request for this process – you must send your request to:

Three weeks prior to the examination a Venue Notice and Computer Users Guide will be forwarded to your email address – please ensure that you have given the MCQ section your current email email address details.
Important Note: For the AMC MCQ Off-shore Examinations, candidates should provide 2 types of identification (for example, passport, drivers licence, birth certificate, etc.) of which one identification should show both a photo and signature.
Change of venue processIf you wish to reschedule into another venue for the Off-shore AMC MCQ Examination, you must do so BEFORE the closing date. Change of venue is NOT accepted after the closing date. You must notify the MCQ section in order to change venue.
Withdrawal ProcessIf you wish to withdraw from the Off-shore AMC MCQ Examination held in Cliftons venues, you must submit to the AMC the MCQ Examination Withdrawal Form. Click here to obtain this form. Please be aware that withdrawal is not accepted via telephone or email. Withdrawal is ONLY accepted by submitting this form to the AMC.
Important Note: Please be aware that you cannot transfer fees or reschedule to another Off-shore AMC MCQ Examination series. You must withdraw and then re-apply with the relevant Form C-1 application. MCQ Withdrawal Fees Withdrawal fees are listed at the AMC Fees & Charges page on this website. Important Note: For all withdrawals from examinations after the examination closing date, acceptable certified evidence must be submitted of severe illness or pressing domestic circumstances, in the form of a Doctors certificate (original or certified copy) or a Statutory Declaration. If you do not submit this documentation your refund will not be processed.
