All Off-shore MCQ examinations held prior to 2 July 2008 (with exception of the OS 01 Off-shore MCQ examination held on 7 May 2008) were a joint MCQ examination in conjunction with the Medical Council of Canada (MCC).
The following information informs candidates on the process for scheduling through the Cliftons, Pearson VUE and Associates venues in the Off-shore MCQ examination. General information for applying for the AMC Off-shore MCQ examinations.Applicants for the AMC examination (who have not yet completed the AMC credentialing process) should note the Primary Source Verification (PSV) closing date for credentialing – this is the date for lodgement of the application Form P1 (or Form A) and associated documentation for eligibility for AMC candidature. For examination dates and closing dates click here. The Form P1/Form A and associated documentation must be received by the PSV Credentialing closing date in order to be assessed as eligible to apply for the examination series. Once you have obtained the Form C-1, fill in your details and ensure that you sign the Form C-1. The Form C-1 must be returned to the AMC (via fax or post) along with the examination fee before the closing date. Late applications will not be accepted.
