The Australian Medical Council (AMC) Online Scheduling Portal has been developed for AMC candidates to schedule online for AMC MCQ Examinations.

If you have an AMC candidate reference number and have been advised by the AMC that you may proceed to apply for the AMC MCQ Examination, scheduling for the examination can be undertaken on the AMC Online Scheduling Portal.

AMC Online Application Wizard Candidate

If you made your initial application via the AMC Online Application Wizard, you may now use the email address which you previously provided [and associated password] to log into the new AMC Online Scheduling Portal, which can be found at the following address:

AMC Form A [Application for Credentialing] Candidate

If you made your initial application via a paper-based Form A application in order to use this new service, you will need to create an AMC Online Account. To create an account, enter your AMC Candidate ID number and email address on the following link:

AMC MCQ Examination Form – Application for Authorisation to Schedule for an MCQ Examination Event

If you are unable to schedule through the AMC Online Scheduling Portal you will need to complete a MCQ Examination Form – Application for Authorisation to Schedule for an MCQ Examination Event.  To obtain this application form, email your request to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Once you have obtained the MCQ Examination Form, fill in your details and ensure that you have signed it.  The MCQ Examination Form must be returned to the AMC (via fax or mail) along with the examination fee before the closing date.  Late applications will not be accepted.

The AMC encourages candidates to schedule through the AMC Online Scheduling Portal as this service is available 24-hours, indicates capacity at venues, and process your information to Pearson VUE to enable you to schedule into an MCQ examination event.  Once you have been scheduled into an MCQ examination event, you will be provided with an AMC placement letter.
