University of Sydney Graduate Medical Program_Executive Summary 2005

An AMC Accreditation Team visited the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Sydney during the week of 27 June 2005. The purpose of the visit was the reaccreditation of the University's Medical Program, which was first assessed as a six-year undergraduate program in 1993.  The six-year course was phased out in 2001 following the commencement of the four-year graduate entry program in 1997.  The development and implementation of the four-year program was assessed during AMC visits to the Faculty in 1996 and 1998.
